Summary
The TASKE ODBC Driver utilizes a 32-bit DSN which may cause incompatibilities on a 64-bit Microsoft® Windows machine.
Applies to
TASKE version 2019.3 and earlier.
Issue
After installing the TASKE ODBC Driver onto your 64-bit client Windows machine you receive one of the following errors when trying to change the TASKE DSN using the Windows ODBC Data Source Administrator tool:
Errors Found: The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application
The setup routines for the TASKE Driver ODBC driver could not be found. Please reinstall the driver.
Solution
Since the TASKE ODBC driver is a 32-bit application, you must use the 32-bit Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator in order to make changes.
To use the 32-bit version of the Data Source Administrator, launch the following application:
%systemdrive%\Windows\SysWoW64\Odbcad32.exe
Select the TASKE ODBC driver and click the Configure button.
