The web browser is displaying one of the following errors when attempting to access a TASKE web application:
The page cannot be displayed.
Problems with this Web page might prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly. In the future, you can display this message by double-clicking the warning icon displayed in the status bar.
<TASKE web application name> Services Are Not Running The <TASKE web application name> Services are not running or cannot be located. Please consult with your system administrator.
Windows Firewall is interfering with the function of TASKE applications. TASKE applications must be added to the Firewall’s exception list.
On the TASKE server, launch TASKE Console. As Console attempts to start the blocked TASKE server applications, the Windows Security Alert dialog box displays the following message for each:
Do you want to keep blocking this program?
Click Unblock to add the application to the Firewall Exceptions list.
If any of the unblocked applications are not automatically started by Console, start each of these applications and click Unblock in the Windows Security Alert dialog box to add the applications to the Firewall Exceptions list.
In some cases, the blocked ports must be manually added to the Firewall Exceptions list. To do this, open the Windows Control Panel and select Windows Firewall. Select the Exceptions tab, click Add Port, and add the appropriate ports to the Firewall Exceptions list, ensuring the port type is set to TCP for each.
For installations where the TASKE Web Services reside on the TASKE server computer, add the following ports to the Firewall Exceptions list:
- 5210 – DisplayCentral
