Summary
This article describes the requirements for a TASKE system running the latest publicly released version of the TASKE server applications in conjunction with an Avaya Communication Manager telephone system. If you have a different telephone system, please refer to TASKE System Requirements for the correct system requirements.
Avaya Application Enablement Services (AES) Server
- The TASKE server must have a TCP/IP connection to the Avaya Application Enablement Services (AES) server with version 8.0 or later.
- The AES server must have an Application Enablement (CTI) license with TSAPI Service and basic TSAPI Right To Use (RTU) licenses for each Extension, AUDIX front end, or Voice Mail port, and ACD Hunt Group (split or skill) which will be monitored.
- If utilizing TASKE Call Recording, you will require one basic TSAPI RTU license and one full DMCC license for each recording device. Each recorded device will also require a TSAPI license, however, this license should have already been accounted for in the previous bullet.
TASKE Server
The requirements for TASKE server applications installed on either physical or virtual machines is explained in TASKE Server Computer Requirements.
The server computer also requires the Avaya Application Enablement (AE) Services TSAPI Windows Client version 8.0 or later to be installed.
If utilizing the live streaming option of Call Recording, where supervisors can listen to calls in real-time, the server computer requires that the Windows Media Foundation Feature is installed.
