TASKE Logs Show TSERVER BAD PASSWORD OR LOGIN Error

Issue

The Administrator log is registering the following error:

acsOpenStream failed, error=25 TSERVER_BAD_PASSWORD_OR_LOGIN

Reason

This error indicates that the User Name and/or Password used to log into the TLink on the Application Enablement Services server does not match the CTI User information listed in the TSAPI Service Security Database.

Solution

Enter the correct CTI User information

  1. On the TASKE server computer, Open the Information Server.
  2. Click the CTI tab.
  3. Click on the Change button in the Telephony Services Communication section.
  4. Enter the correct User Name and Password for the CTI User as configured in the TSAPI Service Security Database.

If you continue to receive this error in the TASKE Administrator log, contact your Application Enablement Services Administrator to verify the CTI User account credentials under User Management.
