Visualizer Start Event Lasts for the Duration of the Call

Issue

For many outgoing calls, the only event displaying in the Call Details pane of Visualizer is the Start event.

Reason

The receipt of call events for outgoing calls is highly dependant on the type of information the central office relays back to the telephone system and the type of trunks (phone lines) involved in the call (analog or digital). Digital lines tend to provide full call details, whereas analog lines tend to provide little or no data.

When Visualizer displays only a Start event for outgoing calls, it means that the telephone system did not receive any external events for the call and the status of the call cannot be determined. Future releases of Visualizer will add a new event for these situations. The No data event will follow the Start event and indicate that the status of the call is unknown.
