Instead of requiring TASKE users to type the full URL of the TASKE website in their browser, make the TASKE website the default website on the TASKE server computer.
Important: Refer to your Microsoft Internet Information Services documentation for more complete instruction on how to perform these tasks with your version of IIS.
Use Microsoft IIS to make the TASKE web application the default web site for the TASKE web server computer.
- From the TASKE web server computer, open Microsoft Internet Information Services.
- Change the Physical Path of the Default Web Site to point to the installation folder of the TASKE web application on the TASKE web server computer.
- Open the Default Document feature and add login.htm as a Default Document option.
- Move login.htm to the top of the list.
Test the configuration by opening a web browser on a computer that is connected to the same network as the TASKE web server computer. Type http://<TASKE web server computer name> in the address bar. The Sign In page should display.
