After signing in to the TASKE web application, the browser window freezes.
This is a known issue to Sun Microsystems affecting Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-b05) with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems where multiple independent signed applets are loaded at the same time. Refer to Sun Bug ID: 6379439 .
Update your Java to JRE 5.0 Update 8 or later.
If you prefer to use TASKE web applications with the affected version of Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, the following solution is available:
- From the TASKE sign in page, click on the Help link in the upper right hand corner.
- In the Online Help window, click on Troubleshoot.
- Proceed through the Troubleshooting pages and when prompted with ‘Do you want to trust the signed applet distributed by “TASKE Technology Inc.”?’ choose Always trust.
- Once the Security Certificate has been accepted you can proceed with signing in to the TASKE web application.
