Java applets contained in TASKE web applications display a message Click to activate.
Because of enhanced security added to Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 any object loaded with the <EMBED> <OBJECT> or <APPLET> now requires the user to click or tab to the object in order to activate it. This affects the Java applets used by TASKE web applications.
If the user holds the mouse over the applet a tooltip will instruct them to click to activate. Some users may perceive this as a double click and assume that there is something wrong with the applet. As TASKE is unable to circumvent this security, the user will have to click on the applets to activate them, upgrade to a newer version of TASKE and IE or choose another browser.
