Issue
When browsing to the TASKE Contact web portal using Google Chrome you receive a gray box with a puzzle piece where the real-time queue information should be.
Solution
For Users of Chrome Version 45 and newer
Google has removed NPAPI support from Chrome Version 45, effectively dropping support for Silverlight, Java and other similar NPAPI based plugins.
TASKE users may use alternative supported browsers such as Firefox and Internet Explorer or Windows Chrome users can install the extension IE Tab which will display web pages using IE within Chrome.
For Users of Chrome Versions 42 to 44
In Chrome versions 42 thru 44, while disabled by default, Google has provided the option to continue to use NPAPI based plugins like Java. Follow these steps to continue using NPAPI plugins in these versions of Chrome.
- Open Chrome
- In your URL bar, enter
chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
- Click the Enable hyperlink for the Enable NPAPI configuration option
- Click the Relaunch Now button that now appears at the bottom of the configuration page
