Editing TASKE Registry Keys on a 64-bit Machine

Last Updated: 22-May-2013

Issue

TASKE is a 32-bit application and as such, it’s registry keys are 32-bit keys. If TASKE is installed on a 64-bit operating system then depending on whether you use the 64-bit or 32-bit version of Registry Editor, the TASKE keys appear to be in different locations.

Solution

We recommend when editing registry keys for TASKE, you utilize the 32-bit Registry Editor. To use the 32-bit Registry Editor, launch the following application:

%systemdrive%\Windows\SysWoW64\regedit.exe

If you prefer to use the 64-bit version of Registry Editor, then note all TASKE registry keys are displayed under the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432Node\TASKE Technology
