Summary

Installing the TTC85_01 patch on TASKE Contact server computer corrects an issue with the TASKE Contact Reports application. Install this patch to restore full functionality to Year by Week and Year by Month reports.

Issue

Running a Year by Week or Year by Month report on a client computer produces a warning indicating that the required data is not available. After receiving this error, client applications fail to connect to the Information Server (ttnetsrv.exe) at the TASKE server computer.

Reason

During the generation of the report data at the server computer, ttnetsrv.exe, a required application for data dispersal to client applications fails. This prevents the generation of the requested report data and client connections.

Solution

The TTC85_01 patch replaces ttnetsrv.exe with a newer version that restores full functionality to the application.

Use the following steps to install the TTC85_01 patch at the TASKE server computer.

  1. In TASKE Console, stop the Information Server if it is started.

  2. Click the following link and save TTC85_01.exe to your computer. Note the location of the file on your computer.

    ftp://ftp.taske.com/Support/ServicePacks/TTC85_01.exe

    Note: if the TASKE server computer does not have Internet access, perform this step at a computer with Internet access and save TTC85_01.exe to a network location that is accessible from the TASKE server computer.

  3. Browse to the location of TTC85_01.exe and open the file to launch the setup wizard for installing the patch.

  4. Use the Location to Save Files window to identify the location of the existing ttnetsrv.exe file. Click Next to accept the default location of c:\TASKE8 or click Change... to browse to its location before clicking Next to proceed.

  5. Click Yes in the Overwrite Protection window to replace the existing ttnetsrv.exe file with the new version provided in TTC85_01.exe.

  6. Click Finish to close the setup wizard.

  7. Restart the Information Server in TASKE Console.
