Summary
This article explains how to install the JavaTM 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition that is required to enable the print command in TASKE Visualizer.
Issue
Printing is disabled in the Visualizer application.
Reason
Each computer running the Visualizer application must have the Java 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition version 1.3 or later installed in order to enable the application's printing capabilities.
Solution
TASKE Technology distributes the Java 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition Version 1.4 with TASKE Contact Version 8.5. Use the following steps to install this utility.

Close all applications currently running on the computer.

Locate the Java 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition Version 1.4 setup wizard in one of the following locations:

On the TASKE Contact Version 8.5 CD: j2re-1_4_1_02-windows-i586.exe is located in the \\ThirdParty\Sun folder on the TASKE Contact Version 8.5 CD.
- On the TASKE Server Computer: j2re-1_4_1_02-windows-i586.exe is placed in the Setups folder on the TASKE server computer. By default this folder is shared during the TASKE Contact installation and should be accessible through the network at: \\TASKE server computer name\Setups.

Double-click j2re-1_4_1_02-windows-i586.exe to launch the setup wizard.

Follow the steps in the wizard to complete the Typical installation type.

When the installation is complete, open Visualizer and print a test page to verify proper installation of the utility.
