Summary

If you’ve loaded the TASKE Information Server onto an employee’s personal computer, and not a dedicated server computer, this tip is for you.

To ensure that the TASKE Information Server launches no matter who logs onto the computer, just add the Information Server shortcut to the "All Users" folder on the computer. Here are the steps you’ll need to take:

Instructions for Windows 95/98 users:

Copy the Information Server shortcut to the
C:\WINDOWS\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder.

Note: With Windows 95/98 there is an option to have everyone who logs in, use the same profile. In that case, you would put the shortcut into the: C:\WINDOWS\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder.

Instructions for Windows 2000 users:

Copy the Information Server shortcut to the

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder.
