Article 10016: Backing Up TASKE Data

Summary

We recommend that your system administrator backup all the TASKE data files on the TASKE server computer daily. The system administrator can schedule an automated task to occur at the same time everyday so that backing up these files becomes part of your routine.

  1. Locate the TASKE8 folder on the TASKE server computer. By default the location of this folder is C:\TASKE8.
  2. Select the following four folders for backup:
    • Prefs
    • SignData
    • VoiceData
    • SiteData\local
  3. If you have an Enterprise system also select the remote site folders within the SiteData folder. Shown in the graphic as 'RemoteSite1' and 'RemoteSite2'.
  4. Copy all these folders to your backup media.
