Summary

Microsoft® Windows XP Service Pack 2 introduces new security features that block ports required by TASKE web applications. Refer to Article 10120: Understanding how Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003 SP1 Affect TASKE Products for instruction on adding the required ports to the Firewall Exceptions list.

Issue

The web browser is providing a page display error when attempting to access a TASKE web application. The error, as it appears in Microsoft Internet Explorer, reads as follows:

Problems with this Web page might prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly. In the future, you can display this message by double-clicking the warning icon displayed in the status bar.

Solution

Refer to Article 10120: Understanding how Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003 SP1 Affect TASKE Products for instruction on adding the required ports to the Firewall Exceptions list.
