Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant

TASKE Technology has a fulltime opening for an energetic and organized Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant in Ottawa, Ontario, effective immediately.

Qualifications include:

  • Comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting experience with QuickBooks
  • Experience with Ceridian or equivalent payroll systems
  • Significant experience with multi-currency transactions
  • Ability to work independently and with little supervision
  • Positive attitude and ability to deal directly with the public when required

Duties include:

  • Invoicing, handling customer payments from online ordering
  • Managing accounts payable and receivables
  • Prepare weekly payroll
  • Prepare inventory adjustments as needed
  • Reconcile several bank accounts
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Journal entries
  • Year end books for pass over to external accountant
  • Weekly and monthly internal financial reports
  • Assisting as required with office management and company social activities
